Christopher O’Dowd is an Irish actor and comedian who was born on October 9, 1979.

His role as Roy Trenneman, one of the main characters in the Channel 4 sitcom The IT Crowd, which lasted for four seasons between 2006 and 2010, garnered him widespread notoriety.
